With the growing relations between the US and other Countries, we feel that it is most important for us start at the grass root level to understand how we can make a positive impact on each other's lives. Issues between people grow from deep misunderstandings. Many of those misunderstandings are rooted in cultural differences. We will serve as the bridge for the cultures and establish relationships between people.

History has shown that when human beings understand a culture, they are less likely to categorize, generalize or use fear-based social influences to construct an idea of someone who they barely know.
When we understand someone's reason for their behavior, actions, cultural norms, ect, we are less likely to take offense. Today we live in a society where individuals would rather stay secluded in their comfort zones and not take that extra step to learn about a culture that is different from their own.

IDEA is a student lead organization that is built and designed to engage individuals of different racial backgrounds for the betterment of mankind. We challenge people to think outside the box and push people to take that initial step towards building friendships and creating opportunities in other countris and in the US. We believe building cross cultural cooperation are the first step towards building a better world.
